Location

A short stroll from the village of St Mabyn and its 15th Century church, Treglown House is within a 10 minute drive of the market town of Wadebridge.

We are close to Port Isaac where you can explore the locations which are the world of ITV's television series Doc Martin.

It provides an ideal base from which to explore all that North and Mid Cornwall has to offer - from surfing at Polzeath, water sports at Rock, safe bathing at Daymer Bay, Cycling on the Camel Trail, to historic sites such as Tintagel as well as the beautiful houses and gardens of Lanhydrock, Pencarrow, Heligan and The Eden Project.

If you are a keen walker, the South West Coastal Path provides countless spectacular walks - graded from easy through to the challenging difficult!!

For golfers, games can be arranged at a number of local courses (St Enodoc, Trevone, St Kew) We can also organize fishing, horse riding and tennis.

There are sports centres in both nearby Wadebridge and Bodmin.
There are two cinemas in Wadebridge showing the latest films.

On arrival at our 19th century house, we greet our guests with a welcome tray of tea, coffee and homemade cake, served either in our peaceful garden, looking out across the valley, or, on chilly days, in the sitting room with it's welcoming log fire.
