The Fishermens Friends sing on the Platt every Friday evening throughout the summer.

Welcome to Treglown House
4 star standard accommodation

You are guaranteed a warm welcome at Treglown House, a traditional farmhouse where the emphasis is on friendliness and informality.  Guests are welcome to relax in the garden with wonderful views across the valley, or on chilly days in the sitting room by a log fire.  Breakfast consists of local bacon and sausage, eggs from our own happy free range hens, our own honey and homemade preserves.  Meet Joey and Paddy our friendly donkeys (they love giving rides!), Boris and Theresa our North Devon cattle, and also happy hens.  A 10 minute stroll brings you to our village pub and a well stocked shop.   Wonderful surfing beaches, fabulous walking, fantastic scenery, water sports all nearby. The Eden Project, Camel cycle trail, and many famous gardens are also within easy reach.  Newquay airport is only 16 miles away.

There is free superfast Wi-fi access in the house and caravans.

SPECIAL OFFER FOR ALLEN VALLEY TWO
Due to cancellation for Allen Valley Two from Sunday 21 August, 4 night minimum stay. Please contact us for more details.

Hallagenna Riding

Visit poldark locations with Hallagenna Riding stables.

For golfers, games can be arranged at a number of local courses (St Enodoc, Trevone, St Kew)

And we can also organise fishing, horse riding and tennis. We have excellent sports centres in both Bodmin and Wadebridge. Wadebridge also has two cinemas showing a good choice of films.

On arrival at our 19th century house, we have a special welcome for our guests, with a cup of tea and biscuits, or if requested, a Cornish cream tea - served either in our peaceful garden looking out across the valley or, on chilly days, in the sitting room with its welcoming log fire.

We welcome dogs at Treglown House. It is an ideal location for dogs as we are a farm and well away from traffic.
